Senia McPherson
Senia brings over 30 years of experience ranging from laboratory testing to operations management. For the past 11 years, she has managed the compositional laboratory with Bureau Veritas, which provides analytical data for natural gas, hydrocarbon liquids and carbon isotope in an extensive gas chromatography laboratory in Edmonton. In her 23-year career at Acuren Group Inc., she developed special expertise in the materials testing division, including the chemical and physical properties of metal. As a NAIT chemical technology graduate, she has been a C.E.T. member of ASET for over 27 years and is a Council member elect with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta. Senia is Co-Director of Membership for Canadian Women in Energy, Edmonton Chapter. She has also dedicated five years to the Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement as both an instructor and moderator at the annual events held in both Calgary and Grande Prairie. Along with other industry representatives, she provides strategic direction for services and programming as incumbent chair for NAIT’s Chemical Technology Program Advisory Committee.
In Senia’s spare time, you can find her exploring the beauty and vastness of hiking trails in Alberta and British Columbia and capturing images with digital photography.
