Christina Ma is a Senior Emissions Specialist for the Alberta Energy Regulatory. In this new role she is currently focused on providing technical support to lead the future regulatory updates within the Alberta Methane framework.
Christina has spent 9 years in the energy industry; the last 6 were with a junior upstream oil and gas producer, as the Senior Lead, Emissions and Environment. Building and leading both the emissions and environment portfolios, with a focus on regulatory and reporting requirements. She strategized and initiated emissions reductions and carbon credit projects to generate offsets for the company.
Prior to entering the energy section, Christina spent over a decade working in the healthcare industry, in clinical research. During this period, she spent time working on all sides of data, along with both the collectors and users of this information garnering an understanding of data collection and analysis.
