The Practical Side of Emerging Technologies and the Impact on PA

This session will provide an overview of emerging technologies that are relevant to property accounting. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are no longer fictional but are commonly used in business processes today. The session will illustrate how emerging technology has already been successfully implemented into property accounting.  The impact on the future of PA, how employees can develop strategies to adapt to technology and how PAs can plan to be a part of this future growth will be discussed.

From this presentation, participants will:

1. Gain understanding of what the different forms of technology are,
2. See how these are currently being implemented into PA and,
3. Develop strategies to adapt to these changes.
