Intent

Participants gain a practical understanding and useful guidelines to implement the five basic components of an EPAP process. Priorities are given for producing companies, processors and pipelines that report into Petrinex to work effectively with production measurement and reporting controls for value-adding results. Some How-Tos and Whys will be presented to develop controls, perform control evaluations, summarize conclusions, prepare and submit annual Declarations, and implement remedial actions. Emphasis is on minimizing the risk of uncertainties and errors.

We will go through a normal EPAP implementation cycle for Control Performers to work with sensible controls and participate in control evaluations where evidence is documented for Theme conclusions. Preparation steps will be covered for submitting the annual Declaration and to set Remedial Actions. Throughout the day we will cover ways to maximize effectiveness between control performers and target continuous improvement. Pitfalls are discussed to avoid surprises in noncompliance notifications
with additional follow-up requirements.
