You may not know this, however, CAPPA’s relationship with SAIT goes back to the 1970’s, so CAPPA was just as surprised as you with SAIT’s decision in late March to end it’s licensing agreement with CAPPA on June 30. We are glad you reached out as SAIT has not provided a student list to CAPPA. We can understand your desire to enroll in your next course as soon as possible and the good news is CAPPA is preparing to offer the online distance learning program directly to students through the facilities of Petrinex. The build and testing of system functionality is nearing completion with go-live on July 1.

Starting July 1, you will be able to enroll in your next course. All CAPPA modules will be available on-line. Of course, the look and feel will be different than SAIT, however the material, self-study quizzes and exams are all the same. CAPPA offers each module as a stand-alone rather than a bundle. as SAIT did. This provides more flexibility to you.

Students will require the following: Internet access, a computer, active email account, printer and Microsoft Excel (.xls) or compatible software.

CAPPA is committed to being responsive to it’s students. This means you will be able to enroll into your next course of the program, at any time, without waiting.

CAPPA has been informed by SAIT that in the future, transcripts will be made available to students transferring to CAPPA to complete their certificate.

If you have paid for a CAPPA course at SAIT that was cancelled as a result of SAIT’s recent announcement, it is your responsibility to recover your refund directly from SAIT. SAIT is not transferring funds to CAPPA on students behalf for courses they have cancelled.

Below, you will find a schedule of all CAPPA modules with current fees and course time limits. If you have any questions re: registration or any other facets of this conversion, please send them to Education@CAPPA.org.

We look forward to helping you succeed.
