Speakers:

Amar Joshi

Amar leads KPMG Canada’s Intelligent Automation practice in Toronto and works with a variety of solutions across the Intelligent Automation spectrum to enable his clients to become digitally agile. He has over 15 years of progressive consulting experience delivering strategic consulting and major transformational initiatives to clients across industries by leveraging process improvement and emerging technologies. Prior to joining KPMG, he worked for Accenture and PwC in their consulting practices. Amar has experience serving clients in telecommunications, government, banking, and transportation sectors. He has a unique mix of strategy, IT, and performance improvement experience which allows him to drive operational efficiencies through the use of technology, process improvement techniques, and the application of benchmarking and best practices.


Sherry Geremia

Work experience:

  • Started working in the energy business in 2007 as a general accountant and joined Canadian Natural as a production accountant in 2012.
  • Has worked as a property accountant and crown analyst on Saskatchewan conventional and heavy oil teams and as a PA on Alberta conventional teams.
  • Is part of the CNRL Petrinex/Regulatory mentorship team
  • Is currently the project lead for robotics processing automation in the property accounting department

Hobbies

  • Renovations, golf, waterskiing, scuba diving, travel and spending time with her 4 daughters.


Tamara Willrodt

Tamara Willrodt is a Production Accounting Coordinator with Whitecap Resources. Tamara is a Senior Analyst, with 13+ years of progressive expertise in Measurement & Compliance and Allocation Audits. A strong technical aptitude and ability to work with emerging technologies, with high levels of accuracy in application development. Analytical, efficient, and strategic with supportive leadership skills that create collaborative and positive team dynamics.

Tamara sees emerging technology as a catalyst to improve the Production Accounting process.


Sean Nicholson

Sean has been in the oil and gas industry for almost 25 years. He started off as a production accountant and has held Management roles in Production Accounting at various companies, most notably Trilogy Energy and Crescent Point Energy. Currently Sean is the Director of Marketing Accounting at Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure until June 30th. As of July 1st, Sean will be transitioning to an independent consultant.

Sean also is a lifetime member of CAPPA and has held many roles in CAPPA including President.

Sean was part of the team that implemented RPA at Crescent Point and is passionate about what RPA can do to streamline operations and reduce input error.

Jessica Choi

Jessica Choi is Production Accounting Systems Analyst at Crescent Point Energy.  She works to implement/maintain PA processes, provides day to day system support, helping Production Accountants to optimize and meet the ever-changing demands of our industry.

Before moving into the Systems Analyst role in 2018, Jessica worked as a Production Accountant for 6 years at Crescent Point, and 10 plus years at various Oil and Gas companies.

Cancellation policy:

– Full refunds will be given up to 10 days prior to the event.

– A 50% refund will be given up to 6 days prior to the event.

– Refunds will not be provided thereafter. 

There is an administration fee of $20 to cancel.

 Registration, however, may be transferred to another attendee without an administration fee. Please notify CAPPA of the transfer to another attendee. The original registrant would be responsible to sort the payment out offline with the new attendee.
