Birn - Headshot 5

Speaker: Kevin Birn, Director, IHS Energy

As a great deflation in global oil prices has taken hold, questions are being raised about the future of medium to higher cost sources of supply like the Canadian oil sands.

IHS believes oil sands growth will continue, but longer-term growth will be linked not only to the pace and scale of the global price recovery, but also on the ability of governments and industry to maintain the relative competitive position of the oil sands.

This presentation will review oil sands project economics and IHS outlook for the future of growth in the Canadian oil sands.
