Lisa Dorian

LISA DORIAN, CPA, CA, CPA (Illinois), CIA, CRMA, is Managing Director of MDA Training Inc. She has delivered workshops for organizations as diverse as ATB Financial, BC Ferries, Huntsman Chemical, Zurich Insurance and others. She has extensive experience in facilitating finance, modelling, enterprise risk management implementations and assessments, and business process development. She regularly works with all levels of management including boards of directors, and has held executive financial management positions within the financial services, retail and public sectors.  Lisa is a past chair of Financial Executives Canada and former chair of the National Issues and Policy Advisory Committee’s sub-committee on corporate governance and internal controls. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, Lisa moved on to become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA). She also holds the U.S. Certified Public Accountant designation, is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Risk Management Assurance professional.
