Wally Goeres, CEO Petrinex
Wally Goeres is the Chief Executive Officer of Petrinex, a position which he has held for the past 15 years.
Wally’s background is in accounting and finance and he holds graduate degrees in both these fields. His work history includes senior finance, accounting, and information technology positions in the Canadian banking Industry and in government at the federal and provincial levels.
Wally splits his time between his Petrinex offices in Edmonton and Calgary.
Ross Weaver, Industry Manager – Petrinex
Ross Weaver is President of PrimeQuest Resources Inc., a firm that consults to organizations in the areas of corporate strategy and governance, business development and project management. Ross has been contracted by the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) and the Explorers and Producers Association of Canada (EPAC) since November 2000, as Industry Manager at Petrinex.
Ross has over 35 years of broad experience in the oil and gas, and chemical sectors, holding a variety of senior executive positions, including President, Pan-Alberta Gas Ltd., Vice President Marketing, and Vice President Administration with Suncor Inc. Ross holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a BSc from the University of Waterloo.
Ross is co-founder of “Old Guys in Action” an organization that organizes events, including polar bear plunges and distance running and cycling events, to support inspiring leaders and sustainable initiatives in developing countries.
