Filmon is the Chairperson of CAPP MRF Committee. He is employed by Canadian Natural Resources Limited as Business Analyst-Special Projects. Canadian Natural Resources Limited is one of the largest independent crude oil and natural gas producers in the world, with balanced mix of Natural Gas, Light Oil, Heavy Oil, In-Situ and Oil Sands production.
Filmon has more than 22 years of oil and gas industry experience specializing in Royalty Compliance. Prior to joining Canadian Natural Resources, He was the Supervisor of Royalty Compliance with Devon Energy. He has also worked with Shell Canada Ltd. for 15 years holding various positons as Crown Coordinator, Finance System Analyst, Programmer and more.
Filmon was part of industry representative MRF NDA group. The group was formed by Alberta Energy to develop MRF policy joint with industry. He is also a long time member of the CAPP Accounting and Chairperson of the CAPP MRF Committee.
