Session Description:
This full day seminar will provide participants with valuable data analysis references, solutions, and tools for improving their own and their company’s reporting integrity. The presenters will focus on challenging, operational scenarios that consistently impact Production Accountants at all levels, while suggesting realistic, viable approaches to address these circumstances.
The seminar builds on each PAs existing knowledge and background, offering practical and workable methods to significantly increase their analytical skills, accuracy, while enhancing the PA’s value to their company.

Speaker:
Cheryl Mahoney
Cheryl has worked in oil and gas since June 1981 in various areas like Joint Venture, Financial Accounting and Revenue before production accounting. She is a CAPPA Instructor, CAPPA Education Advisory Group member, and past CAPPA Board Member.
Cheryl is currently Team Lead, Production and Revenue Accounting at Seven Generations Energy. Previously she was Team Lead, Production and Revenue Accounting at Zargon Oil and Gas, from June 2012.
Cheryl volunteered for the CAPPA education committee in the late nineties. After 2 years on the committee, she was nominated to the CAPPA board. She was elected to be the Education Director and held for the position for about 8 years. She was integral to the development of CAPPA certificate Level 5, which led her to teaching at SAIT and MRU
Kim Skirten
Kim has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1983, mainly in Production Accounting. Kim has a strong Saskatchewan production accounting background, and has worked with Alberta, BC, and Manitoba production accounting as well.
Kim started as a Revenue Accountant at Total Petroleum and worked in various production and revenue accounting roles over the years and was most recently the Supervisor, Saskatchewan Production/Revenue Accounting at Penn West Exploration (now Obsidian Energy) until she moved into her current role as Manager, Production/Revenue Accounting at Cona Resources (previously Northern Blizzard) as of September 2014.
Kim was a subject matter expert for the Petrinex Saskatchewan Inclusion Project. She is strong supporter of CAPPA and is a member of the CAPPA board, occasional CAPPA instructor, and head of the CAPPA Government Liaison/Emerging Issues/Industry committee

Cancellations must be received by email to office@cappa.org in order to cancel event registration.
The following refund policy applies to this event:
Full refunds will be given if cancellation to CAPPA occurs prior to midnight on November 8, 2017
A 50% refund will be given if cancellation to CAPPA occurs prior to midnight on November 16, 2017
Refunds will not be given after November 16th.
A $20 administration fee is applies to full and partial refunds.
Registration, however, may be transferred to another attendee without an administration fee. Please notify CAPPA of the transfer to another attendee. The original registrant would be responsible to sort the payment out offline with the new attendee.
