Excel Pivot Tables and Dashboards

Have a worksheet with hundreds, thousands or just a lot of rows of data and need to make sense of it all?  This seminar will show you how Excel’s Pivot Tables can help you quickly turn a mass of data into meaningful information to help manage your business.

We’ll start with the theory behind Pivot Tables and Best Practices for creating them. Once we have a Pivot Table we will find out how to group data, create Calculated Fields, updating data and extracting data from your accounting systems and creating drill downs in Pivot Tables. Next we’ll look at Pivot Tables unique ability to consolidate data across multiple worksheets and then work with creating Charts and dashboards generated from the Pivot Table.

Due to the hands-on nature of the session, participants will need to bring their laptops (along with power cords) for the seminar.
