Pascal Bonnet

Pascal attended the University of Alberta with a major in genetics. He spent 16 years in the analytical laboratory business starting with environmental work before transitioning into Oil & Gas in 1997 when he joined Core Laboratories in Edmonton ultimately ending in the role of Manager of Northern AB/BC Operations.

Pascal then joined Critical Control in the role of Director of Measurement Solutions providing lead development and implementation with :

  • ProTrend – Fluid Analysis & Measurement management software,
  • Development of Production Measurement Drawings services and
  • Integrity Services, which provides services in Corrosion, Risk analysis and mediation plans for pipelines.

Pascal left Critical in 2012 to join Cenovus Energy for the role of Production Measurement Analyst where he provided EPAP Auditing and Measurement support to all areas of the business, both in field Operational and in the office with Production Accounting.

Pascal recently moved to Torxen Oil & Gas as part of asset divestures and continues to provide measurement oversight and support to all areas of the Operations.

Pascal has served on many industry and regulatory committees including:

  • Directive 017 updates for AB, SK, and BC
  • Development of Directive 076 (EPAP) for SK
  • AB EPAP Stakeholders committee
  • CAPP Methane Task Force
  • AER Methane Monitoring and Reporting Technical Committee
  • Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement
