Maureen graduated from NAIT in Hydrocarbon Engineering Technology. She started her career with a major oil gas producer and has worked in the field of measurement, instrumentation and automation. She spent time in Calgary head office as well as field and district office locations. She has extensive experience in Heavy Oil, Pipelines, Oil and Gas Production, Midstream and Waste operations.

Maureen has experience in all regulatory and standards that apply to measurement and has provided guidance and recommendations to operators to ensure compliance. She is the now the principle of Measurement Guru Ltd., a measurement consulting firm.

Kent Geddes smallKent Geddes

Kent has 30 years’ of industry experience working in a variety of company size and has been both a Consultant and employee during this time.  Kent brings seasoned expertise in Allocations, GCA, Royalties, Joint Venture, System Setup and Production Accounting.  Kent is a CAPPA Instructor at both SAIT and MRU and is currently consulting as a Senior Production Accountant.

John Dempsey smallJohn Dempsey

John Dempsey is a Treaty Indian and member of the Blood Tribe in southern Alberta.  He is currently a Director for Indian Oil and Gas Canada, heading up the Regulatory Compliance Division.  These responsibilities include operational policy development, legislative and regulatory development, Environmental Protection, Technical Business Support, Resource Analysis and Compliance and Litigation Support.

In his time with Indian Oil and Gas Canada John led the development of the amendments to the Indian Oil and Gas Act in 2009 including preparation of strategic policy direction and appearances before House and Senate committees to debate the amendments.

Taralee Stephenson has worked with Indian Oil and Gas Canada for 14 years.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environment and Conservation Sciences.  Over the years Taralee has worked as a Surface Land Assistant, an Environmental Analyst and for the past approximately 2 years as a Senior Policy Advisor.  She brings a breadth of knowledge in her contributions to the amendments to the Indian Oil and Gas Regulations.

Olga Matsula has been with Indian Oil and Gas Canada as a Compliance Analyst for over three years. She brings over 10 years of experience in process improvement, time management, and quality and error analysis to the team. Olga holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and CAPPA Certificate.  As a member of the Royalty Administration team Olga provides analytical support both internally in her day to day work at IOGC and externally working with Industry PA’s to resolve IOGC royalty related issues.

Twila Watcheston is an Ochapowace First Nation Cree member from Treaty 4 in Southern Saskatchewan. Twila has been working at Indian Oil and Gas Canada (IOGC) for the past 14 years. Throughout the years, Twila’s various positions included Audit/GCA contractor, Royalty Validation Clerk, Royalty Entity Analyst. Her current position at IOGC is Senior Royalty Analyst. Twila’s in-depth experience in First Nation Royalties has played an important role and has enabled her to become the main lead in the development of IOGC’s Electronic Data Services (EDS). Twila has completed a Business Administration Diploma and the CAPPA Certificate.

Allison Monnery smallAllison Monnery

Allison Monnery has been with Indian Oil and Gas Canada (IOGC) for 3 years, following completion of the CAPPA Certificate program. Allison is the Gas Cost Allowance (GCA) Administrator, a role that she’s been in for over 2 years; and previously, she was a Compliance Analyst with Royalty Administration Team.  Allison was involved with the updating of the GCA guidelines and has been a key member of the team in implementing the capital based methodology for reporting.  Allison continuously works with numerous industry PA’s involved with GCA, and provides guidance on ensuring proper and timely submissions. Her role involves facility cost centre (FCC) setup and maintenance.

Linda Pruden

lap-picLinda has worked in the oil and gas industry since the mid 1980’s, primarily in Production Accounting related roles.

Linda’s first Production Accounting role was at a smaller company where production accounting, allocations, and reporting were completed on spreadsheets.   Linda has worked at both small and larger producers over the years and progressively advanced through variety of roles from Joint Venture Accountant; Non Operated Accountant; Production Revenue Accountant; Supervisor, Production Accounting; Production Accounting System conversion project to a Training and Development Lead.

Mark Flynn is a past director for Measurement and Reporting Consultancy.  Mark has over thirty years’ experience in measurement, measurement process, quality auditing, and measurement facility inspections.  He is the Past Chairman of the Industry Measurement Group, past Director of the Canadian Institute of Hydrocarbon Measurement, an active Volunteer with the Canadian School of Hydrocarbon measurement, and a Volunteer speaker with CAPPA.  Mark has participated in many of the AER/OGC/ECON subcommittees in the creation of measurement and reporting requirements for Western Canada.  Mark is currently a member of the rewrite subcommittee for the Measurement requirements for Upstream Oil and Gas Operations with AER/OGC/ECON.

Lindsey Boguski has spent the past 15 years in various marketing related capacities within the Canadian Oil and Gas Sector. Leveraging both her Business Diploma from SAIT and her Bachelor’s in Management from the University of Lethbridge, Lindsey has worked for some well-recognized organizations including NetThruPut Inc., Seminole Canada Energy, ARC Resources and Harvest Operations. During her tenure with these organizations, she developed a wide-range of experitise including; Accounting, Analytics, Logistics and Marketing for Crude Oil and NGL production.

In early 2012 Lindsey took on a new challenge, accepting the role of Director, Industry Solutions with Petrotranz Inc.  Today Lindsey is VP Products and she is regarded as a strong voice of guidance and experience to the marketing sector, working to facilitate standardization and efficiencies wherever possible.
